Clever push by KMJ to the back elicits a short lift and HJE kills it. 20-17

Twice ZYL had her hand up to hold up the service and the tactic works as KMJ flicks well wide. 21-18

CHN too dominant at the net. KOR defence too rudimentary. 14-8

Today's match was great... it was one of the greatest in the past 12 months....

CaiYun has proven himself to be the toughest player.... the crowd was against him... the line judges are against him... LYD was in top form... and Cai Yun was at one point 11-4 behind... and slowly and surely made a come back.... progressing one point at a time....... CaiYun not only was able to motive himself, he help motive his partner..... At the most critical moment, at 19-19, even the service judge is against him..... but he soldier on... and he won.... he is now 32... if he wins the olymics in august, he will be a legend...

I thought LYD was error-prone today, especially in the rubber. In fact he made both errors that gave CHN the winning points.

PS. A single full stop will do ;)

KOR should have ended the rally on the short lift earlier but their inability to kill led to them being killed instead. 19-13.

Smash down the middle by TQ. 20-13

He is watching from CHN/CY's perspective, hence the one sided comment.

"First time of asking" exclaims GC, proving this is her favourite GC-ism.

    ZYL/TQ take it easily 21-13

That's OK. I think I have a more neutral, less invested point of view in this case.

BTW, don't let the Home Minister catch you watching cuties :D
