    I agree... koreans have always been their nemesis, well danes have a weakness in boe. I believe that this will be fully exploited tomorrow..

    Side note: Ma Jin looks pretty pleased with her performance in OG. Took the defeat really well.

    I hope she wins gold next time.

    Oh man, only one of the special clashes.. NO Kor vs Chn in MD, only Lcw vs Ld in MS, damn, could have been so special...
    I really really hope the MD gets exciting anyway, if not, god, so annoying that Koreans lost today.

    It will be exciting because it's played in Europe. Boe and Mogensen do step up their game. But still they get beaten quite convincingly by Cai-Fu most of the time.

    The way you described it, JJS/LYD has an uncanny resemblence to LCW.

    Don't think it will be a walk in the park for Cai/Fu in tomorrow's final.

    If somehow we can put the Olympics as part of the Super Series tour, then JJS/LYD and LCW have great chances.

    It would be nice if the final gold medal tally looks like this :

    CHN=2 (both already in the bag)
    MAS=1
    DEN=1
    JPN=1.

    Spread around, man.

    And BoMo s play is hard to predict. Besides, they will have decent crowd support here in Europe. CHN always have crowd support anywhere but when their opponents get some crowd support, it disturbs them.

    My two cents worth, while winning Olympics gold medal is a great achievement but how great the players are, IMO, is not determine by winning the Olympic gold. It is how consistent and well they played throughout their career. Frankly speaking, i can't remember the alot of the Olympic medalists for badminton but i do remember who are the greatest players of each era :)

    I love how people nag about China's dominance ("again an all china match") but on the other hand everybody is disappointed because the two most obvious pairs are not competing for gold.

    Make up your damn mind.

    bakulaw, if you do notice long enough the badminton world then you'll admit that EVERY player (pair) has his own UNFORTUNATE ("down") days. Aside from how good, or excellent they are... there will be some occasion which is slippery for them, the unforeseeable shocking defeat.

    SORRY, you're right... just check their H2H and realize that it is so biased to the advantage of LYD/JJS regardless they have adjacent positions in the Top-3. Their H2H before today's match is[TABLE="class: h2h ruler"]

    with LYD/JJS winning their last three matches though the latest one in Djarum Open was a relatively tight 3-set match. LYD/JJS are just less fortunate today.... ;);) [speechless]

    jasonmarc: sometimes the stats/records are there. Just do a search although many a times there were those who ask for non-existing facts.:rolleyes:

    Indeed, its a much easier final match for CY/FHF based on the H2H and statistics. Their fans were hoping for it.

    With all due respect to the Danes, they are no pushover either as no one will go to an Olympic final by sheer luck. They deserved every ounce of it.

    My mom beat Lin Dan on court
    Fair point. But yesterday, my mom told me that she wish Lin Dan will be beaten by LHI on yesterday match. She really hate Lin Dan and don't want Chinese ruling.

    So sad your mom is unable to take part. Otherwise, tomorrow's final will be your mom vs LCW and the bronze medal match will be CL vs LD.:D
    Just joking.
