btw who is ROSMAH??? MAS Minister of Sport??? What a cool support... flying all the ways from KL to London just one day before the show :D hmmm... but to think London has many high-end up market exclusive stores incl. the many haute couture there, it should be worth much the Minister's efforts.

    I will root for LD.

LCW has been playing unbelievably in the semi-final, it is a show of strength.
LD, on the other hand, is hiding something, at least I would like to think so, lol.

Anyhow, hope the match excess all our expectations and may the best warrior triumph.

Now it's not balance anymore... LCW just got jinxed by more votes.

The 'dark side' has taken over the force now...:p

    folks here have short memories.
during the beijing olympics, evryone (except China) was expecting latok lee to win the gold. but what happened was history.

Super Dan totally blacked out the springy latok then. LOL

the point is, latok may be very good. and the gap between him and the rest of badminton world is huge. i had never expected chen long to beat him.

but Super Dan is in totally different class. the gap between him and latok is very wide.
    really depends on his motivation.
latok was pawned each time that it matters.

sorry latok and boleh-land dreamers...enjoy ur silver.

    LD VS LCW:

LD to win. The pressure on the whole Malaysia nation to win their first gold medal will be too much for LCW. Meanwhile LD probably a bit nervous at first or second points, after that focus as always.

Look at how badly the japanese girl play in the first set when they play the gold match or how badly TBH/KKK start against Cai/Fu. Playing for a medal in Olympic is no joke.

I'm not voting because I want both or either one to win for similar as well as different reasons.

For Lin Dan, his country expects him to but I personally feel he can afford not to simply because he's won everything already, with nothing to prove, no peaks to conquer. For LCW,he's given so much to the sport and has been playing second fiddle to Lin Dan for so long, not to win one big title such as the Olympics towards the end of his career is not only unfair but a bit too much to bear for he's also my idol.

Although I've said whatever the outcome is fine for me,however if LCW fails to take it I'd feel so sorry for him. My heart goes out to him but my head says Lin Dan for he seems to have what it takes to win it again even though he's not quite the awesome Lin Dan of Beijing 2008.

As an aside, Andrew Kam's gold bar award is tainted with controversy and may invite criticism should LCW gains it. Anyway, this is LCW's last chance at Olympic glory, he should concentrate on playing his best badminton and worry about other things later. Apparently he's fully recovered after watching how he played against Simon,Kashyap and CL, so if not this time then when as he may never get another chance again. Just hope for the best and take what comes.

Hi, I always enjoy reading your rare posts whether I agree or not; the way you expressed yourself is funny and fun, kind of cute if you don't mind.

Mind if I ask you,how come you spell datok (or datuk) as latok? Just curious.

Lin Dan, Cai - Fu and Lee Chong Wei have exceeded everyone's expectation.

Who says a player cannot reach the final for the second time? History says so but not the present.

These four players prove history doesn't repeat itself. Same to be said about Indonesia's and Korea's gold medal haul.
