Chen Long is always slow off the blocks, it kind of irritates me. He can't afford to do that with Lin Dan or LCW.

this chinese MD pair seem to have come out of nowhere to take this tournament by storm. they have good chemistry. they don't seem to have any particular weapons (like the smash of Fu or net plays like Hendra or Tony Gunawan, or even defensive skills like the korean MD pairs), but they seem to have this "never say die" attitude. they won't ever give up and for such youth in age, strength in their oncourt mentality. i hope they really establish their place in the national team as the heir to the CY-FHF team, and really able to challenge, on a consistent basis, to the koreans, indonesians, malaysians and other MD teams.

I believe their incredible speed around court and their explosive attack to be a particular weapon though :D Qiu has a really good smash, and Liu's ability to leap around the front court and finish off anything loose at the net should be considered a 'weapon' imop :)

JOJ has the knack of playing above himself time and time again with the likes of LCW, Lin Dan, and now Chen Long. If only he can translate that into more consistent wins against the rest, he will be in the top 5 now.

What a smash from JOJ, just too bad he's missed the follow up kill a few times.
