MS - Chen Yuekun (CHN)
WS - Sun Yu (CHN)
MD - Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin (TPE)
WD - Eom Hye Won/Jang Ye Na (KOR)
XD - Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA)

Today's program will consist of qualifying round (10.00am) and MS R/64 (06.00pm) and using 4 courts.

Only one defending champion is taking part here, the top-seed TPE MD Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin.

The most interesting first round MS match will be played tonight, two resilient players Kenichi Tago (JPN) v Son Wan Ho (KOR).

2011 World Championships silver medalist Cheng Shao Chieh is playing XD here, partnered with Lee Sheng Mu.

Just noticed Xue Song has withdrawn. And Son Wan Ho has inflicted a first-round exit on K Tago, 21-11,21-14.

Unfortunately, one of our forum members has gone out in the first round of the men's singles.

As usual, we can count on CLELY to open the tournament threads. Thank you very much,CLELY.

You're welcome :)

Top-seed Kenichi Tago was already out, lost straight-sets to Son Wan-ho, Son is strong contender to win MS title. Three former world junior champions participate this tourney, Tian Houwei, Zulfadli Zulkiffli and Kento Momota, we'll see how their performance here.

Too bad Anand Pawar and RMV Gurusaidutt have withdrawn... RMV might have had a good chance to advance to the semis.

Tago lost in the first round just like last year. He seems to have no luck in Macau. Son Wan Ho is trying to make up for the qualifying round loss in the HK Open. I'd say he's looking on track to taking the MS title here.

why is that Malaysia's Hoon and Tan are playing this tournament but didn't play last week's HK open ? That did cost them a seat in the SS finals...

Hi moderators, I happened to take a look at the BWF calendar and noticed there is a Yonex-Sunrise Vietnam Open GP event next month from 2nd to 8th Dec. But I don't see it listed in our BC sub-forums page, thought I'd bring it to your attention.

I have posted VIE Entry List & Draw : http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...-GP-Entry-List-amp-DRAW?p=2166017#post2166017
The original schedule was 27th August-1st September but it had been shifted to December.

Looks like it was not a great day for the local players in Macau, some pretty heavy scorelines:p

Yup, huge gap between MAC players and others except their WD pairs, former CHN shuttler.

Round of 32 (10.00am, 4 courts) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...00E42C-9B0F-4245-8C69-98D7F1E20A56&d=20131127

I notice three CHN MS will take on HKG players, Tian HW v Wei N, Guo K v Hu Y and Huang YX v Chan YK.
