i mean macau had quite a few pretty player, haha
Good to see (on paper though) Cheng Shao Chieh back on court, but what was the reason for her long absence? Was she injured?
second seed in WS is out now..
Thulasi P. C.
Nichaon Jindapon
Got chance to see again since they get past the 1st round
She's lost in the first round of the singles. Must be injury problems before. She hasn't played much in tournaments for 6 months.
Yeah, the unseeded IND WS sent Jindapon early exit here.
Yup, next round their opponent most likely CHN Yu/Huang.
Thulasi beating Jindapon in R1 must be an upset, well done for Thulasi.
Huang Yuxiang knocking out Chan Yan Kit suprised me somewhat, so too Qin Jinjing disposing of Pai Hsiao Ma, the 4th seed, more so.
Guo Kai stuns 3rd seed Hu Yun, 21-9 / 21-7, the scoreline is really surprise.
This scorline does not reflects Hu Yun's potential.. Must be something wrong to him.. I know how he will play.. I have been following his matches for months.. Definitely, he must have got some injury or something...
Indeed, a demolition job by Guo Kai on Hu Yun. I'd always thought Hu Yun is esp dangerous when he is fresh and fit in the early rounds of a tournament, particularly when he didn't play the week(s) before.
Too bad, no livestream, can't tell what happened.
Seventh seed and former WJ Champ, Kento Momota lost to Hsueh Hsuan Yi, 18-21 / 18-21.
That's why the scoreline surprised me, it's not typical Hu Yun to lost easily.
Another upset of sorts, Kento Momota unexpectedly beaten by Hsueh Hsuan Yi. In my opinion, TPE players generally are capable of springing surprises now and then.
One of limsy's fave is playing now...Tian HW took first game 21-14.
haha,u are baiting me to post here,
good chance for him to win his 3rd title
Wei Nan takes G2, 22-20, to force the decider, he's a tricky opponent. Xue Song has learned how to deal with him but for Tian Houwei, he is a new, unfamiliar player, with his tight net shots and stinging smash and his reluctance to lift the shuttle as much as possible.
Wei Nan forced rubber, the deciding game becomes so close now, 11-10 interval for HKG player.
Not unexpectedly, Tian Houwei is finding Wei Nan quite a handful now.
It's already 70 minutes playing, 17-15 for Tian HW...
