Not sure how the young Pelatnas WD pairs (Shella Devi Aulia/Imma Muthiah Khairunissa, Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari, and Maretha Dea Giovani/Melvira Oklamona) will fare in R32, but I predict none will progress to R16. As for WS, there's a good chance all 4 players could win, but the same goes otherwise too. Not really hoping much.
INA has many representatives in MD (both from Pelatnas and clubs). Pelatnas sends mostly their young guns and some could progress to the next round. MD R32 Ronald Alexander/Selvanus Gehvs Nelson Heg/Teo Ee Yi - battle between the WJC 2012 Champion and the Bronze Medallist. I hope Ronald/Selvanus can at least force the MAS pair to rubber-set. Hendra A. Gunawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki [7] vs Bodin Issara/Pakkawat Vilailak - AG/Yoke miss out on qualifying for WC by just 100 pts! A tricky match awaits them tomorrow. Takuto Inoue/Yuki Kaneko vs Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma - a grudge match which was won by the Japanese pair in the AJC last year. Let's see if the INA pair can exact a revenge. The Japanese pair has a slight edge. Sanjeeth S./Jagadish Yadav vs Hardi Hardianto/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra - the newly paired Hardianto/Agri should advance. Chow Pak Chuu/Tan Bin Shen vs Christopher Rusdianto/Trikusuma Wardhana - the INA pair has been in Europe for several weeks to gain ranking pts. I am not sure how they will fare against the experienced MAS pair. The MAS pair has a slight edge. Chan Yun Lung/Wong Wai Hong vs Andrei Adistia/Markus Fernaldi Gideon - the ex-Pelatnas players have teamed up together and I think they could progress. Ade Yusuf/Wahyu Nayaka vs Goh V. Shem/Lim Khim Wah [3] - a learning experience for the young INA pair as they climb up the ranking table. They are expected to reach top 30 by end of this year. Fernando Kurniawan/Lee Chun Hei vs Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [6] - Kido/Alvent are in the WC this year. This will not be an easy match. Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Rafiddias Akhdan Nugroho vs Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong [2] - Kevin/Rafi will be INA's biggest hope for a title in AJC/WJC this year. A stern test for them against MAS's 2nd pair of Hoon/Tan. Again, a rubber-set will suffice for me.
P.C.Thulasi vs Xue Yao.. This is the time for Thulasi to prove her talent to Gopichand. Atleast taking one game against chinese is a great improvement for her.. But i suspect .. Xue Yao should move ahead to the next round easily.. All the best Thulasi. Arundhati vs Maria kusumastuti.. 50-50 %.. But since Arundhathi's game has increased, she should win it.. Let's hope for the best.. Srikanth vs Suppanyu ... Srikanth should proceed further.. Let's see what happens.. Tanvi Lad vs Kano Ito -- Japanese has the advantage.. Likewise R.M.V and Prannoy should move ahead. Also sindhu should not have difficulties i hope...
They were just sent to BAC. Plus, the second layer like Riyanto et al were sent to Australian GPG and New Zealand GP just a couple of weeks ago. Time to recuperate.
Meanwhile K.Srikanth won the first game and 13 all in the second game against one of the seeded player Suppanyu

Well done Srikanth. Next up for him is Daren Liew or China Huang. Lets see if he can overcome this tournament highest seed (most likely) Daren Liew.
