    Many seeded players tumbled yesterday including MD top two seed, Ahsan/Setiawan and Boe/Mogensen who are reigning World Champion and defending champion respectively. Other notable names such as Juliane Schenk, Tai Tzu Ying, Nguyen Tien Minh, Jan O Jorgensen also suffered first round exit.
