Some interesting encounters today :

- Derek Wong (SIN) v Sugiarto (INA)
- Leverdez (FRA) v Son WH (KOR)
- Ouseph (ENG) v Chong WF (MAS)
- Ueda (JPN) v Tian HW (CHN)

Ueda v Tian would be fantastic, if both players are "on" their games.

Yup, it's expected would be a close contest, h-2-h :1-1, last meeting Tian def. Ueda rubber games in R/16 AUS SS 2014.

Both LXR and K Gavnholt are a bit slow to warm up and settle in, with their fair share of easy mistakes and unforced errors.

Just watching Corrales versus Intanon.

Intanon is leading 18-7 in the second set. Corrales isn't that bad. But she is not working Intanon enough around the court. Intanon has been ill and her stamina is going to be suspect. Corrales is not able to captilise on that.

I can't wait to watch Chen lonh match , he had said during an interview that since the thomas cup he's been training hard to ajust his game .

Derek Wong versus Tommy Sugiarto.

Derek Wong showing some good badminton. Can he keep it up for the match?
