Was watching the match earlier. GVS's back problem seemed to be an excuse. The pair seemed to be not on good terms. LKW's attitude and body language was horrible. Everytime his shots didnt go past the net, rather than having the courtesy to oush the shuttle to the opponent's side, he just walked away from the shuttle. V Shem was the one doing the "housekeeping". The pair didnt even communicate with one another. The commentators picked this up, too.
Manu attri/sumeet reddy has beaten a seeded japanese MD pair in straight games. Good for indian doubles pair. I never expected this result.
Wang ZM probably wanted to conserve energy in G2 and ended up having to stay longer on court. Actually, Petr Koukal is no pushover, he's beaten RUS Vladimir Ivanov yesterday in two straight sets.
I am on mobile. Hence I could not watch any of these matches , I completely depend on recorded videos which are uploaded later. Just following the live scores.
Lol, totally. If he can cut that high lifting stuff out and counter attack instead surely these guys would be in with a shout.
There are times when you remember that there is no characters like KOO / TAN in whole badminton world. Lovely. Just absolutely so beautiful.
Wei Nan had better not underestimate Dinuka whose better-known colleague (brother? or any relation?), Niluka Karunaratne, created history bundling out K Tago at the London Olympics.
The BEL Yuhan Tan is giving Vittinghus a really hard time, trading blow for blow (if only I can watch it).
Tan cares about it Speaking of Tan in that first game he was putting them down on the ground from the backline like they were net kills, was awesome.
I supposed most unfancied underdogs would go all out from the get-go, even if it means being able to last just 10 minutes or so, if only to get a decent score. But, apparently, Dinuka is doing far better than that - so far in G2, he's keeping close to Wei Nan. What a surprise.
