Out of nowhere, LXR takes 5 straight points.

    Spoke too soon...
LXR fought back from 15-19 to take the game 21-19

    Wow!

Yeah.. Maybe it's time for Hayom to leave the national team so he would take matches more seriously? :D

Minatsu Mitani too had a run of 7 points early in the 2nd game.

That's it for Mitani. Now watch as she is flattened in the decider - oh, there'll be some last gasp attempts at fighting back, but they'll all be for nought.

I can't believe Mitani was 19 up (Li was quite a few points behind) in the second game and blew her lead. It almost makes me not want to root for her...almost.

Looks like, at the moment, there are only two ways to beat LXR - either you play like WSX or hopefully wait for her to beat herself; that is until Chen Jin is able to help her overcome this shortcoming of hers or,perhaps, she herself outgrows the problem with maturity and experience.

Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili are through to the QF where Xu Chen/Ma Jin await them.

Xu Chen and Ma Jin weren't very impressive against the Thai XD.

Hoping for a good run from Simon Santoso, INA's only remaining hope in MS.

It looks like Minatsu Mitani missed the most promising opportunity yet in her career!
LXR is now running away with the match.

Any player who's leading against CHN players (1 set up) and almost finished with the 2nd-set (just look at Bella and Mitani) is only creating problem for himself/herself when the CHN player suddenly takes charge and win the 2nd-set. The 3rd-set is almost a foregone conclusion.

The same goes for players who are leading in the third-set but lose that lead eventually. Fran/Shendy, Pia/Rizki, and Ow/Tan are good examples yesterday.
