I was watching the Ct 1 livestream, don't enjoy following livescore. Just realized WSX narrowly edged out TTY, 24-22 in the decider despite holding 2 matchpoints at 20-18. Seems like WSX has problem staying focused at crucial moments. Hope to catch the replay later, if available.

CJ coached TTY before at the Axiata Cup ?! Good for TTY who has improved a lot. Must be a very exciting, tense match going by the posts here as well as how the score panned out , esp in G3.

I sense TTY about to make her breakthrough any time soon. Too bad there has to be a winner, both WSX and TTY deserve to advance further.

A grueling match between SJH and MM, the former is probably under a lot of pressure to do well on home ground.

What is more surprising is that the two Kims lost their match on home turf against a non Korean pair.

    You are welcome.

DPY does not play like him today and hope he can change in the next game.

LCW mopped the floor with DPY in G1.
    16 - 9 in G2 already for LCW.

Lee CW outclasses Du PY, 21-9 / 21-12 and will face Tago tomorrow.

Lee CW in fiery form, starting the new year with a bang. Looks like after losing the last three encounters to Chen Long, he should get one back this time, should they meet in the final.

After all, Chen Long is no Lin Dan. Moreover, for Chen Long to score 3 out of 4 wins on average is already overwhelming. Let's see but, honestly, I would be rooting for Chen Long.

Yeah, DuPY appeared too eager and anxious to win and couldn't get his game going. However, Lee CW , as always, is devastating when he is not 'afraid' of his opponent.

Quite childish to try to rub it into limsy's face just because of differing opinions earlier on

Meanwhile, Gao Huan and Boonsak Ponsana are having a tug-of-war, one game apiece by identical score of 21-19.
