Lol. As long as people keep drinking our whisky and using our oil we may be ok. With the train wreck economy of England off our hands we may prosper Lets face it the majority of voters will be deciding because they enjoyed the film braveheart, pretty unnecessary.
right, is that why you wanted to adopt the 'British Pounds'. I bet next you will wanted 'English' as your official language as well.
Haha save it. I was born in England and for single figures growing up there. Family Scottish and teens onward here. I was always teased to be English in Scotland and Scottish in England, So I am starting up my own land, United republic of Badmintonland. who's with me!

Next he will meet Victor Axelsen/Kento Momoto..
I would have accepted if Prannoy had won Son won ho who is in terrible form. Today he lost in straight games. I can say he has to climb mountain ahead..
Axelsen was really impressive vs Kento earlier. Had control of the game and dictated the rallies. Really troubled Kento with cross court defence of smashes. One thing i'll say is i've never seen 2 players stand so far forward when receiving serve before. Both nearly on the service line!
Nan Wei is not a happy man. Has been called for a high serve on 4-5 occasions. Has requested to call the tournament referee twice, which the umpire has refused. He has resorted to forehand serving whch ithink will cost him the game
In the end it cost Nan Wei the match. Vittinghus wins 21-11, 14-21, 21-18 Be interesting to see what he says on twitter later on.
The Japanese XD Kenichi Hayakawa/Misaki Matsutomo will be disappointed to lose today, catching 14-19 to 20-19 and then losing 20-22 in the last set
QUARTERFINALS (04.00pm, 3 courts) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...C62064-9573-4195-B7EB-265662B7326D&d=20140228 Match of the day is Son WH v Zwiebler as mentioned at ts.com and possibly the winner of this tie will nail top prize on Sunday. Arvind Bhat still continue his good running here and take on Danish future player Axelsen today. Bae YJ v Takahashi should be close match, Marin is the only European WS who survive until QF and she has good prospect to book semifinal ticket. Two MAS MD, Goh/Lim and Hoon/Tan will find tough test as top-seed Endo/Hayakawa and Korean Ko/Shin are their opponent respectively. WD, looks like it will be KOR v JPN contest on tomorrow semifinal. XD, Four Europe pairs and Four Asian pairs, hard to predict who will progress into last four.
Good to see Arvind Bhat getting through a few rounds. He has had a dip of form in the last couple of years whilst the younger players have taken a higher profile over him. Very pleasant guy to talk to.
Real testing is gonna happen today for Arvind bhat. Victor is also a tall and very young player who can know to use his height very well. Let's see how many points Aravind will take today against his formidable opponent.
Confidence is a wonderful attribute. Arvind must be feeling in good physical condition to have had these two good victories. Looking forward to a good match.
I may consider his victory over Hu Yun as good one and unexpected. Because i know Hu Yun since i have been following his matches for some time now. He is a wonderful player. May be he is not in good physical shape in this tournament or he is uncomfortable with tall players !!!! But the victory over Daren Liew is expected. Daren Liew is not of the same league as Hu Yun.
It is quite normal for older, mature and experienced players who are not among the top 10 (or even top 20) to have a very good tournament once in a blue moon, which goes to prove maturity and experience are essential contributing factors to high level play, esp evident in those who are lacking in natural talents. Good job, Arvind Bhat. If the still relatively young Viktor Axelsen isn't consistent yet, then AB has a reasonable chance to beat him, I think.
