Not really a convincing win, the Jia/Chen pair would have given them more trouble if they have taken the 1st set. but nevertheless a win is still a win.

Well they didn't take it, and that's the point: the japanese pair didn't allow them to come back despite failing to convert 2/3 match points on a few grueling rallies. That was pretty convincing to me ;) They were not in their best form for sure but a win is a win.

No challenge for Lin Dan as expected
 
Lin Dan will probably lose tomorrow... Too tired after hard fought battle with Vietnam's warrior NTM.....
 
after ZZ, Vivian/Woon are the latest to fall, by losing to Nitya/Polili in 3 games...
next will be Koo/Tan, will they survive against Kamura/Sonoda?

I think Vivian/Woon could have risked their chances to Rio, they were leading 20-18 match point in the 2nd set but could not convert.

If its against Hu yun , I believe lin dan may lose .... but impossible against LEGENDONGK hahahaha X
