Because it will give different points ranking for the player/pair that finished in 3rd/4th place of the group stage. For example for double category, group stage: 3rd place will receive 4800 points 4th place will receive 3000 points
The revelation so far has to be Mateusiak and Zieba. Mateusiak is the oldest player on court ..... yet still manages to top his group of death.
