The Luo sisters are maybe the worst decision. But in XD, they are the best in China though, Bao Yixin/Liu Cheng lost easily to Praveen/Debby, no way China wanna have them in oly. And that Chen Qing Chen player still doesn't qualify.

AY has to be one of the weirdest and hard-to-read players on the tour though.

The reason is I thought exactly 2 players are allowed from a country is so that they can put in the opposite halves.

Given your expertise, I dont give a rat's furry behind.
I'm talking preference, as in liking players, not objective expectation. Ofc I thought Marin was gonna win, doesnt mean I wanted her to.

Nah, Zhang Nan's physical condition is not able play to XD and MD in the same game. The coach should realize that way before the game starts and make certain changes. If Zhang Nan didn't play MD in the morning, his performance in XD will be much better.

That will only make the 2012 London fiasco happen again.

i believe draw separation applied only if you were top 4 doubles or top 8 singles.

standard practice is to seed 1/4 of a draw. however, 'pool play followed by knockout' format is on a case by case basis, based on size of draw and pools.

    Why?

    And outside of Japan,

CHN, IND, THA, KOR all got separated into 2 halves.
I find it a little strange that JPN did not.
