And the Imagine Dragons song "I am on top of the world" played in the background says it all for the CHN rising star

Congratulations to Huang Yu Xiang for playing so well to win the MS title today. Congratulations too. Richii Takeshita also did a good job today.

Huang Yuxiang is a more intelligent player than Tian Houwei, and keeps himself focused better even when the going gets tough, imho.

I think the next WD match may slightly favour the Japanese to win it based on the previous h2h record whereby the Japanese WD won over the Korean WD.

As much as I like watching Lee So Hee I won't jeopardize the JPN WD chances!

    Japanese WD are killing badminton.

There matches are potential channel changers, insufferable bore and few other things as well.

    Let me have a try

Korean Badminton is led by their charismatic captain Lee Yong Dae,often recognised as the Greatest Korean Player of All Time.
Since Lee Yong Dae is not playing, their performance under the leadership of vice captain Shin Baek Cheol is quite bad and one that has brought Korean MD & XD back to planet earth.

Allow me to share a bit about yesterday Korean XD matches. Yesterday Korean XD coach, Ra Kyung Min she was so anxious throughout the whole match. She watched that whole XD match intensely. She analysed the Malaysian players game plan. She gave good advises to her players. She kept telling Ko Sung Hyun / Kim Ha Na how to win. She looked worried when Kim Ha Na played. She knew it Kim Ha Na is jot a very good lady player. But then what to-do? She tried her best to coach them. She tried her best to tell Kim Ha Na to change and play better. But time and time Kim Ha Na kept making the same mistakes. That caused both the Koreans to lose their XD match yesterday.

I doubt so, for now at least, his attack can't match Chen Long's, only his retrieving ability is nearly as good.

You are right, they were tense especially LYH. I am very glad that HYX proved me wrong. He has changed his game from a physical one to one of patient stroke making and only smashes as and when it is necessary . His defence and net play is also very good.
