Apparently, Chen Long on top of his game now, one-way traffic for him in G2.
No wonder because he is the man who got privilege to be my BC pro Avatar
Good to see the Iris and Samantha won again. This makes their second consecutive win against Jwala/Ashwini, after their win in the Bitburger Open last October. This is one WD to look out for. They had a good match last week against Huang/Wang as well. Seems that Iris has fully recovered from her injury!
Just checked the results and to my horror my idols for today match have lost.
My idols who have lost in the first round of the match are as follows.
XD Choi Sol Kyu / Eom Hye Won
XD Yoo Yeon Seong / Chang Ye Na
WD Jwalla Gupta / Ashwini Ponappa
Thankful that my MD idol Kim Gi Jung / Kim Sa Rang won their match today.
Overall feel sad as 3 of my idols lost today. Wow it is late night here now. So in a while more I will go for my peaceful sleep.

Interested to see how marin will fare against bae.
Rievas thought it will be a tricky test (met him in the airplane, very nice guy, had a short chat with him), he also mentioned that marin never won against may, who she could meet in the qf
Surprise, surprise, Xue Song snatched G1 from the jaws of defeat, 22-20.
Xue Song seems to have broken Prannoy's will in G2, going 11-2 ahead...
Xue Song seems to enjoy playing friends from India
Would love to see Marin - Bae's catfight...alas, not on livestream...
Careful XS, HSP isn't throwing in the towel yet...far from it...he's creeping back to 8-11...
Marin Struggling in the first round against lowly Bae Yeon Ju ?
After 28 minutes of marathon battle, Marin escapes 25-23.
Frankly, I seldom like to follow livescore so closely, but, what to do, with most of the singles matches not on TV court or livestream, that's the only option left.
I guess the organizer purposely did that in the hope of attracting paying viewers to the arena to watch the more popular matches in the early rounds when TV broadcast is not available yet; thereby boosting ticket sales, but to the annoyance of the many more fans and viewers following proceedings on the Internet .
Lin Dan in a lovely yellow kit
Inching close to victory for Xue Song, 18-13 in the 2nd set...
