Sindhu's x-ct drive is getting obvious, seen by Bae.

11-7 in favor of Bae in the third set. Let's finish it off ;)

Kims struggled with their nerves. Ko/Shin seem to be more aggressive/positiv in pressure situations what is needed!

So interesting to note that once again the poor performing Kim Sa Rang / Kim Gi Jung lose their MD match. Not a surprise for me anymore. Really unreliable. Looks like both Ko and Shin cannot avoid doing double duty playing in XD and MD now. Oh too bad. U wonder how both are going to cope doing double duties in Olympics 2016? Hmm it will be extremely difficult.

Of course assuming Shin will qualify for XD as well, which seems quite challenging by looking at their recent performance.

PV should've known this, BYJ has dogged spirit and lots of gas in her tank! It was a straight set win or a triple set loss! Anyways PV isn't at her element, thanks to the withdrawls she got a free pass till QF and some vital pts!

Disappointed that Xue Song - Momota is not on TV court, hope livestream works on time without missing the start of the match.

surprised to hear that. back in the good old days, deception was the staple of Indian badminton. Gopichand used to wrong foot his opponent just from his service! He practically won the AE on deception alone.

Gopi and prakash padukone had great deception in those days but look at saina and sindhu. .their deception is not of that class as of yet, ok saina has some deceiving shots in her game but sindhu lacks it completely. .whereas indian men's singles players are slightly better in that department but they are way too inconsistent.

Wow, what an odd tournament so far. I think Lin Dan has two goals this year - win Olympics, but also almost as importantly, finally win in Malaysia! Is this his last chance this year? Perhaps he wants more time to prepare for this tournament, in this strong MS era.

And China's WD woes continue? Goh/Tan doing the classic Malaysian MD and getting into semis from time to time. Never to win an actual title though.

Anyway, it's a pity the two giants of WS aren't playing in this tournament - Marin and Okuhara. And has anyone noticed that Ratchanok has stepped up her screaming in this tournament? She's reached Marin's level now hehe. Hopefully she can play at her peak level too!
