What a close shave. Another smash from Harris and the Indonesian WD won the second set 21-19. What a close shave indeed.
Meanwhile the MD match at court 1 have ended. Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong won their match today to enter the finals. Congratulations.
Finally congratulations to the Haris / Putri Sari for winning the WD match over Takahata / Sakuramoto. Experience really matters here.
The Japanese WD once had their chance to win at the second set as they are leading all the way in the second set but some errors cost them to lose 19-21. Anyway good job done too. Very young talented promising Japanese WD players.

MS Chong Wei Feng versus Vincent Wong Wing Ki WS Ayumi Mine versus Yeo Jia Min MD Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong versus Lee Jhehui / Lee Yang WD Nuraidah / Pradipta versus Haris / Putri Sari XD Tan Kian Meng / Lai Pei Jing versus Prasetya / Annis Saufika Once again congratulations to all the players who played to well today to win their matches and enter the finals tomorrow.
Nguyen Tien Minh and Vu Thi Trang have injured themselves in this tournament. What a bad news. The injury is rather severe too. As both will be playing in Rio Olympics 2016 now with this injury it is unsure whether they can play in Olympics 2016 or not. What a bad news indeed.
Schedule for tomorrow finals is out. Match will start at 1.00 pm Vietnam time. 1. WD Nuraidah / Pradipta versus Haris / Putri Sari 2. MS Chong Wei Feng versus Vincent Wong Wing Ki 3. XD Tan Kian Meng / Lai Pei Jing versus Prasetya / Annis Saufika 4. WS Ayumi Mine versus Yeo Jia Min 5. MD Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong versus Lee Jhehui / Lee Yang
WS YEO Jia Min [SIN] defeated [MAS] CHEAH Soniia Su Ya 21-17 21-12 in 35 min. Congrats to Jia Min who will enter tomorrow's final: Ayumi MINE [JPN] vs [SIN] YEO Jia Min Unfortunately, unable to view her in action.
Oh dear, is that true ? So sorry to hear that, most unfortunate indeed. Hope it's not serious and they recover fully in time for the Rio Olympics.
Unsure about this myself too. Just heard of the severe injury. Because now it is already so near to Olympics and such severe injury occur it is certainly bad news indeed. I myself hope they can recover in time to play for Olympics 2016.
It's big risk for Rio-bound shuttler to take part in this GP that scheduled very close, less than one month priors to Rio 2016, wishing speedy recovery for both of them. Two INA back-up WD pairs will facing each other in today's final, Haris/Sari against the relatively new partnerships Nuraidah/Pradipta. Vincent Wong Wing Ki and Ayumi Mine are clear favourite to claim title in singles category while two Malaysian pairs, Koo Kin Keat/Tan Boon Heong also the well-improved Tan Kian Meng/Lai Pei Jing will find challenging final opponent, second seed TPE combination Lee Jhe Huei/Lee Yang and last year quarterfinalists Alfian Eko Prasetya/Annisa Saufika respectively.
