Is the WC week right after or right before Japan Open?

WC in Japan. Home advantage or pressure for Japanese players?

probably pressure. They can't even handle pressure during Thomas/Uber/Sudirman cups. Olympics was the same story. Instead of having home advantage they probably treat that as pressure.

We know Asian games hosted in Hangzhou China has been delayed.

It's likely there won't be any China Open nor Macau Open this year. I really can't see quarantine restrictions being lifted especially as China is officially still keeping to zero covid policy.

If there is Macau/HK Open, then chances is higher. Only Mainland China is sticking to zero covid policy.

Macau are sticking to two weeks quarantine (not sure if they changed recently). They make their decisions on covid policy independently from HK.

Guys, amateur question. What does the number mean behind the super series? 100, 300, 500, 750, 1000?

The number indicates the status or level (how much ranking points and prize money) of the tournament, with 1000 being the highest
