    A good win for LKY.
He kept his composure to force his opponent to make errors.
2 smashes wide in the closing poinrs and 1 push long where he ducked in the final point.

    Next up his SYQ.

At 14-all G3, LZJ just gave up and throw the match away like no one else's business. Really disheartening to see.

    Koki Watanabe was playing like:

Ok, this is my last tournament that I was in team A, next year I don't know whether I has chance to play anymore.

So I will play 101% to beat Nishimoto and Naraoka and all of Japan men'single to let you know how talent I was.

NTY had a easy game against the Aus player; it was clear he was outclassed.

I would still say that the JP semifinalist could beat any of the other semifinalists tho; not spoiling the matches here.

Shi YQ rectifies his Hylo Open setback against Loh KY here, former world number two looks more confident despite losing first game as he stems his rival speed to unfold a series of explosive shots and quality strokes in next proceeding to outmaneuver Loh. Former world champion inconsistent pattern reiterated as he displays awful and awry performance in third game, his smash and deceptives went to wrong place numerous times, net play became prey to kill by the Chinese deadly smash. Shi will take on the raring Naraoka who outlasts Watanabe in marathon match, the Chinese won last meeting in Odense recently and very close an thrilling contest. On upper-half draw, a walk in a park for Lu GZ and Ng TY to destroy their opponent, enjoying lucky quarterfinal draw.

A significant flop surges Japanese women squad, their A-listers in WD discipline wiped out in last eight then women singles also has equal fate amid Yamaguchi absence. Okuhara is far from her first rate standard, going down to fast-improved Han Yue. The Chinese #4 begins to beat elite players one by one, interesting to wait whether this is seasonal improvement or transform into truly more consistent player in future months. Top contender An SY safely through into semis and facing regular hurdle, Chochuwong to vie final spot.

All Korean finals, rarity for mixed doubles department when the Chinese representative miss final show, end of journey for Feng/Huang combination as the Olympic Champion will reunite with original partner in World Tour Finals next month. A much needed point for Seo/Chae to improve their plummeted world ranking which slides into #22, they conclude the opener in so close scoreline. Huang DP made plenty of unforced errors after mid game interval of second game while the tall Feng YZ was unable to cover his older partner.

Hylo Open victory isn't a fluke for Aimsaard sisters, at least they defend positive trend to book another S300 tour final, the Thai young pairs indicated noteworthy development in this year to pick IND Open S500 title ,VIE Open, an interesting landscape to invigorate women's doubles competition. Zhang/Zheng cement their status as China second best combination, the reshuffle seemingly succeed so far as China heavily relying on Chen/Jia.

Stamina has a limit, it's applied to Han Yue who began to show accumulated fatigue sign after played non stop tournament since DEN Open, she did relentless tiring long rallies that drained energy, the inaccuracy crept in then defense shot found deadlock. Grego has decent technical skill, thanks to her persistence and elementary mistakes reduction in this match to play her game into right direction and navigates complicated placement that need extra effort to reach out. Her footwork and resilience will get ardous test in first S300 final, An SY has the antithesis style of play, meticulous and tidy player, the Korean hot fave eliminates Chochuwong comfortably.

A seesaw 85 minutes semifinal battle yet hard luck for Naraoka to rewrite DEN Open final four narrow defeat once again, Shi YQ didn't direct efficient game rather than running laborious rally to build up attacking game and earn point mostly through his signature cross-court smash. He found challenging situation to seek the Japanese rising star negligence who exhibits some magnificent unexpected defense shots that surprised Shi occasionally. Focus and composure are the key factor in crucial and decisive moment as the match went down to the wire in deciding game, the more experienced former All England champion won the thrilling tie. Lu GZ speed and agility vanquishes Ng TY straightforwardly and reach S300 final, the last time was four years ago at same venue, a moral booster for Lu towards Bangkok Finals. All Chinese affairs in this quiet week, the indicator was on on when Lu toppled the top-seed in last sixteen.

Current China #1 MD combination, Liu/Ou through to final, they're quite off the radar since clinched INA Open S1000 in June. Two balanced last four contests present the winners and losing semifinalist only separated by thin line. Ong/Teo strike back after drop first set easily then started to regroup in next process. the passionate Malaysians have higher motivation to enjoy high intensity match particularly late part of final game to touch down finish line.
