i dont know him. i have been sidelined by injuries old and new - ankle tendonitis, foot capsulitis, and more recently gout - which allow more time to get nosy on the internet. we are probably in the same age group. i wonder how he plays and trains and remain relatively injury free all these years.Yes. Would still recommend general weight training with squats, deadlifts, resistance bands, hangs for grip strength. All are good to maintain muscle mass, bone density and your balance especially as age increases.yeah, orthotics and towel scrunches for years...the end of the tunnel seems to be very social badminton.

Not to go crazy with weights but some weight loading exercises is good.
