Why do we have seperate threads for different days? There's hardly any posts on the last one.

IND as always attracting the worst ever draws, the toughest group, now the toughest QF in Thomas cup.
With a joke for MD2, their only chance of winning is 3-0, unfortunately I don't see SYQ losing, LSF even less so.

Extremely surprised to see Kiran George for MS3, KS has a lop sided H2H against LGZ

Yup, yesteryears (before the turn of the decade), we had many pages, even for different days of competion.

Nowadays, we hardly have 3 to 4 pages for the whole tournament.

    Where is everyone?

Good question, especially considering that Nishimoto has a worse H2H against Lee Zii Jia than Naraoka. It could well backfire, but maybe Japan's coaches are scared of tiring Naraoka out before a potential meeting with China.

He is prob rested to face SYQ in the semis. Japan will prob steamroll MAS before the 3rd MS. MAS has shaky MD despite their depths. Felt Aaron/Soh did not play well in this tournament. Same goes to their 2nd MD

The last 4 meetings were 2-2.
And with Nishimoto playing well here.
As for LZJ, you won't know which version of him will turn up later.

Malaysia extra day of rest could prove pivotal here especially in MD which i feel is 50:50

Agree! I noticed LZJ has moods when he plays. He makes silly unforced errors frequently but at the same time he can be lethal. Very unpredicatable guy. He has character and own ego.

MAS banking on LZJ and 2 doubles. If LZJ wins, MAS may not win still.
But if LZJ loses, MAS can book their Air Asia tickets.

Yeah Malaysia have to finish this in 4 matches. For me, i put them as slight favourite to advancr

However if it goes to 5th match, Momota is trump card and will surely win.

They can score any point except the last match imo.

For example, LZJ is huge fav at books against Nishimoto. While Koki is favourite against LJH, its slightly less obvious than LZJ match. Which people can consider it surprising.
