Yes ... to the Royalty as is customary in Thai culture, I suppose. A commoner should not stand above the Royalty as a mark of respect. :)

Both of you (Lou & Loh) are way off-topic :p
But since the Games are over... ahem :D
    ________

Just watched the princess play at the SEA Games :)
I'd say she has certainly improved much over the last year.

It's also nice to see the Malaysian girl 'apologising' for a body smash.
I wonder if that apology was to royalty... or just from one player to another :)

Yes, just discovered that's S$30k compared to Spore's cheap S$10k.No wonder TH played serious badminton so Kendrick had no chance.

S$10k = RM23K. I've forgotten how much Msia govern give for SEA Games but ASIA Level is RM40K for gold, RM20K for Silver, RM10K for Bronze.

    Malaysia BOLEH...!!!
If u guys think Taufik participated in SEA for the sake of S$31,000, i think that's a big joke. For his status (on and off court), he is sorta like a superstar and no lack of endorsements. His wife is from a wealthy family, so Taufik doesnt need the $31k at all.

i agree with u that taufik is not materialistic.he played for his country.

but,u know what, theres some athletes who come from a wealth family, gain a lot of money in n out of court but still looking for money in every game.
    no money,no game.show me the money n i'll play.they are exist.

These are professionals. It is in line with their profession to play for money FIRST. It is not about being materialistic.
