3 gold matching Athens standard. Am sure LYB wont be too happy with this for reason being that they are the home ground. Content maybe.

My expectation is 2 and they did one better. See if there's any heads rolling.

Still well done to China for winning the most number of gold.

    Off-topic [I know]

The only category in which INA does not have strong enough pedigree is WD... Everything else, we pretty much have multiple World Champions, World Rank #1, All England Champs, Olympic Medalists, etc... :p

    INA pedigree [throughout badminton history]:
    MD: excellent
    MS: very good
    XD: good
    WS: occasional superstars
    WD: competitive

Men Team: team of the 20th century ;) [quarterfinal finish, ...never!]
Women Team: 3 cup wins and multiple 2nd place finish is... not bad! :p
Mixed Team: 1 win, many 2nd place finishes... good but far from excellent...

This is my last post in this thread.

I agree with kwun's analysis regarding the standard, and I have no problem for it. Whether CHN gets 3 gold or not, whether LYB feels happy or mad, that's his issue, not mine. I feel happy for all the champions, and also salute to all the participants.

However, only thing kinda gets to me, is some ppl here use whatever standard for 1 simple reason - put down CHN and/or LYB. My assumption might be as hard to be proven as CHN's "match fixing", however, you get my point. :D
