I'm trying to find a suitable string for my 2nd backup racket, and since I only use it in the rare occasion I break my 2 main rackets in 1 session, I'm hoping to find a string that will be left mostly untouched for months, but will still have decent repulsion. I tried BG80, and it just loses repulsion too quickly. I'm hoping it's a string that's 0.67-0.68mm, but thinner would be fine too.
I have 3 rackets all with BG 80 at 27lbs. I don't get to the 3rd racket until 6 months+ after the initial stringing and it feels like brand new. Could be an issue with your stringer, the tension you're using etc.
just curious, if all 3 rackets the same model? if yes, why not just rotate the use to get the best out of this situation?
It's not the tension that's the problem, it's the repulsion that disappears for me, and it was quite noticeable for me after the 3 months of not playing from covid19. In talking about bg80.
Have you ever break 2 rackets in one session? It's pretty easy. rotate the 3 rackets. There is no string which don't age during a half year. how often do you restring the 2 main rackets? it would also be fair to restring the back up. I think we all experienced during the covid-19 situation that our jobs aged during this time and played horrible. No string will compensate it.
I suggest you keep this video and request for feedback in one place rather than on multiple threads. If you continue with this approach you may not be part of the forum for long!!
If something is contained in a single thread that's fine but to spam multiple threads with the same thing is far too much! I'm happy for everyone to be part of BC as long as they are mindful of the others and dont force content in our faces.
