I think Aaron Chia needs a better partner, to be honest. WYS is frankly not good enough to be a top-ranked pair by today's standard. He is weak in defense, weak at the net, and doesn't have a particularly strong attack from the rear court. Chia's talent and ability is being held back by his partner - if he can get a decent partner I'm sure he'd stand a much better chance of beating all of the above pairs.
On the contrary, I think Aaron Chia is being too casual these days. His smash are not that strong anymore and his rate of error is increasing.
WC losing in home ground at R16 to an unranked China pairs in straight sets. Both of them really need to buck up and improve.
