Mine are 11cm widest point at the forefoot and 26 cm toe to heel. I am using BT feather of size UK 8. I have also taken out the insoles replacing them with orthotics. I also wear some sleeves ankle supports as well!

Since I don't like my foot slipping forward an backwards in the shoe, there is only a small amount of room from the front of the toe onwards. The lace up area on the top of the shoe is important - there is a fair amount of space between either sides of the hole which doesn't bother me at all. However, that's a bit of an individual preference. UK 9.5 sounds pretty big of you are going for that. What's you usual size of shoe?

Ah we have the exact foot size! Personally I don't like my shoes to be too tight, so I usually wear UK8 for thin padded shoes (eg. converse all star) and UK9-UK9.5 for thick padded and tight fitting running shoes.

I remember seeing in forum that Kwun's foot size is 260mm length & 95mm width, and he is wearing UK8.5. So hmmm sounds like I should get UK9 instead.

One more question, does your BT Feather gotten much looser after break in?

Not much looser after breaking in. It's not as bulky as a running shoe.

today I played with my daughter. She's has adidas badminton shoes changing over from a previous manufacturer. I can't remember offhand which model she is wearing. Now quite strangely, she has said the exact same thing as me about her shoes - she doesn't feel she can spring off as well as she could with her previous badminton shoes. The shoes are pretty comfortable.

    Received the shoes on Friday.
The shoes fit really well for my wide feet and looks much better in person.
Can't wait to test it out on Wednesday!

Dang. I tried my old shoes again yesterday. I felt the spring again and don't feel my feet have a dead weight (unlike the BT feather).

After having given my BT Feather a good trial, it's not the shoe for me. Very comfortable shoe though.

Hey babygrand not sure I'm allowed to post links here, I bought them from MyBadmintonStore.

Adidas Badminton is actually outsourced to a 3rd party company, that's why you can't find it in the official Adidas store ;-)

Seeing as it is Quickforce 7 it probably isn't a brand new model?

Saw the pics yeah [IMG]. To me it really looks like a handball shoe design but I couldn't find this model name yet (after a really brief first search attempt) ...
