I also picked him because if he really wants the AE Title, I think he can get it ;) :)

    personally, I think:
    MS: LD/TH
    WS: ZN/XXF
    MD: FHF&CY/LYD&JJS
WD: ZJW&YW/HS&GL toss up. edge to gao and huang but I always root for yang wei and zhang jw to win. It's clear they can beat HS and GL but they always f-up somehwere along the way and throw the game.
    XD: ZB&GL/GE&NR

I'd like to see XZB and ZYW finally win something since they're consistent QF & SF contenders; now they're seeded 2 and in the half opposite ZB and GL so they don't have to worry about getting knocked out by them. Prolly not gonna happen though....Other than that, results are probably gonna be pretty consistent with other tournaments, meaning lots of red in the end. And I agree that ZN has not been in very good form these last months. Either XXf is that much better now, or ZN is feeling her age.

Well I very closely agree with you...

MS - TH if he shows up:p , if not Lin Dan:mad: or Chen Jin:)
WS - XXF or other Chinese component:p
MD - Very even, possibly the Koreans:cool:
    WD - China:rolleyes:
XD - N. Widianto/L. Natsir OR ZB/GL...sorry to say that I think my English faves of Robertson/Emms are a little past their time now. I don't think they will be winning many Super Sevens from now on.:(

MS- Lin Dan or Taufik (if he's actually playing....)
WS- XXF. Although I watched Xu Huaiwen at the England vs Germany the other week and she looked strong.
MD- Really close at the moment, I'd probably give the edge to China
    WD- No surprises, China
XD- ZB/GL....I'm really hoping that Robertson/Emms get to the final but I'm not sure if they'll beat the Chinese, and no-one has yet.... I'd like to see some Europeans in with a chance, Donna Kellogg and Anthony Clark seem to be playing well at the moment.

I'll be there screaming England on all the way!

Her bad days are still better than many players' good day. I don't think our Mew Choo can beat her on the above condition?

I agree to certain extend that politics in Malaysia has some impact on badminton progress but that's normal to all countries. Badminton China also is very political so is PBSI but still you find champions producing by these nations ... I think the key is the talent, Malaysia just don't have enough even though we're so passionate in this sports. Winning can cure so many things ...

Why so many people bet on Taufik? He's never won all England, in fact, he has NEVER won any tournament in Europe!

I think Gade has a much bigger chance, great form and almost home court advantage. and Lin Dan is almost invincible for years...

Your prediction may come true, given CHN domination and with PG out, an all CHN SF is a possibility and that is sad for the sport to grow. In the oldies, we have Hendrawan, Frost, PG, Alan Budi, Ong Ewe Hock, Foo Kok Keong, etc to counter the CHN team...now aside from PG, LCW and TH, and with LHI retired, there is no new talents out there and CHN would dominate. Aside from those who cheer/worship team CHN and LD to win all the time, who really want to see all-CHN finals all the time..if it is free to watch, no problem, to pay to watch live with all other costs incurred, I don't think so...Does anyone really look forward to all CHN WS finalists everytime, just check out the young chicks from CHN e.g. WL, ZL, JYJ, LL, etc. and many more waiting in the wings, winning everything, is there any excitement.
