Err, dunno yet ....... most likely for me is to attend semifinal and possibly final only.

But since you said the magic word, it is now time for me to show, err, the Djarum Girls' major competition, courtesy of BliBli online retailer ...... Unique styling indeed - based on flight attendant attire of the 60s.

The Effects of a Premier League Event .......

..... are starting to show at the Djarum Indonesia Open. Mainly on ticket prices.

So much so that the touts this year had no joy because people are not so willing to pay the original ticket price, let alone additional "interests" on top of it. Serves the touts right .... but still, a pity for the masses.

But Djarum worked hard to set so many huge TV screens within the compound. So technically, you can see the event live free of charge for featured matches ..... just don't expect to hear any commentary.

For those die hard fans short on cash, there is always the rolling ATM brought in by BCA.

This is the media centre. Very strict enforcement of ID cards, that the Korean Team Doctor failed to gain entrance despite Sung Ji Hyun's lady coach argument with the guards.


Was under the weather since Saturday morning - so a cup of hot Mocha was always welcome ......

The 2012 Djarum Girls .......

...... have yet to appear on this forum, wakakakaka.

Instead, let us indulge in some performances brought in by the band, as well as some very hot dancing queens, doing their dance on a very hot, hot day ......

Well, with huge distance-eating Canon lens, deceptive Djarum Girls picture taking is pretty much child's play. Yup, suffice to say that I could shoot 'em in the back, sideways, together in a group, or just sitting by oneself, without any suspecting eye lid.

Yup, I could shoot 'em eating, putting on makeup, doing their hair, getting their lovely faces painted, sitting sideways with blank expressions, pretty much everything really.

This Really Premier Event ........

........ wasn't in the badminton. Not even in the prize money. But it was in the meticulous organization and planning of the event that is repeated and improved year after year.

Those who have not even tried coming over to Jakarta at least once during the Djarum Indonesia Open would have missed a lot.

Of course, having a squadron of Djarum Girls always helps ......

Of course, when it is the "low season" and business has yet to pick up, the Djarum Girls would congregate as groups to do their thing ...... as in what girls normally do as a group.

Just Like In Any Company .....

...... there are some, err, deadweight Djarum Girls. Beautiful, no doubt, but beautiful deadweights nonetheless. They tend to do nothing but:

And Finally ......

..... there is the warrior type Djarum Girl. Yup, the ones that are strong willed enough to, ahem, tarnish their beauty by applying face paint. Given the right lighting conditions, they can look fierce, beautifully fierce, that is.
