I think Park/Kim were more consistent than Kim/Ha. And how could you not mention Sidek bros. who were kings of runner-up (like today's Bao but they were more consistent)?

Astro Malaysia still have Live coverage but it's a subscription satellite TV, not free like RTM1. Anyway, the chance for RTM to broadcast is quite high even though the schedule say otherwise, is our Malaysian culture and RTM tradition so stay tune in front of TV and no "pasar malam" tonight:D

My calls (as always, winners in bold®)

    MS
LD over CY–I sure hope "injury" is not a factor. In any case, LD to give CY a roasting.

    WS
XXF over PHY–I underestimated Pi who DID stretch her match against ZN to 3 looooong games, and finally outlasting her. Will fatigue be a factor? Remember Pi also went 3 games against Wang Chen. She's quite a fighter but needs to have more in her arsenal to upset Xie.

    MD
KKK/TBH over FHF/CY–battle royale. Malaysia Boleh v Jia You. The CHN pair has done remarkably well when many (especially myself :p ) had written them off. In the end I think the MAS speed and skill levels will nick it for them. I'm sure KKK will look good bald.

    WD
YW/ZJW over ZYW/WYL–quite honestly, I couldn't care less about this match so I (like LYB) will give it to the higher seed

    XD
GL/ZB over DK/AC–I make this call out of respect for GL. She must be seething after her WD loss. On the other hand, the ENG duo have proven to be quite resilient and have ground our some good wins. Home support will lift their game for sure but nobody, and I mean nobody, is gonna stop a rampant GL. Oh, ZB's there to carry her bag :D :D

just finish watching the XD semi, china vs ENG, very exciting. I think DK/AC can win it the final. DK is amazing defending hard smashes, even at point blank range. DK can hold her own. Even the big xie resorted to dropping instead of his trademark brute smashing.

DK is very fast at the net, she might not be as good as GL but she got this fearless attitude i like. And ya, she is better than Emms. AC is a very smart player with his nvr say die attitude, he can do better then Nathan.
