ah well, Lauren lost, 21-17 / 21-6. gave a good fight back on the 1st game, but ran out in the 2nd. good effort though.
 
Surprised to see Shon lost to Eric Pang rather easily. Perhaps he was exhausted from his efforts at the GO. Nguyen Tien Minh has advanced with a 21-17, 21-18 win over Jorgensen.

Tago levels with Gong 21-17 in 2nd
Tommy edges Dicky 21-19 in 1st
 
Wow, the schedule has the MS going back to back rounds. Rene Ulsing, who's just completed a 3 gamer will surely be killed by Eric Pang.

I surprise to see Tommy can do good against Dicky....

Hopefully he can go to the main draw....

I imagine.... Tommy go to the Main Draw.... defeat chong wei in the second round face TH but Th win and face SDk in the Semi and TH will be in the Final.... wow....:D:D:D

But I want to see TH vs LCW though.....

Hmm, I've to say I'm impressed with Tommy. 3 Matches on the same day and the last two is within hour of each other.

i just noticed that Gong WJ played another 1:00 hrs match on 1st round, 30mins on 2nd round, no wonder he seems to have ran out losing in 59min in the 3rd round!

The scheduling for the MS qualifying is NUTS! A real test of stamina, like in the old (OSS) days. But I suppose it could be said it's the same for everyone.

Still an impressive win for Tago! Especially considering Gongs 2-0 win over Sato in German Open!!

Bad draw for Tago though to have CJ in the first round :-(

Julia Wong lost the 1st game 21-17 to Dimova :eek: Upset in the making?
Pai leads Xing 19-18 :eek: Even at 20-20 now... an Pai takes it 23-21

Wong seems to have woken up, leads 9-4 in the 2nd
