quite interesting how the newbie next to clark behave and how the indos try to threaten him a bit. i like clarks style, quite cool.
Looks like Clark/Lindley have done enough to dispatch of the INA youngsters, up 18-12 in the rubber. Wong 11-9 Dimova in rubber Xing 18-13 Pai in 2nd
Wong scrapes through by the skin of her teeth 21-19 against the unfancied Dimova. MAS fans will be relieved yet worried. Still one more round of WS to come. Will the 49 mins of action have taken its toll on Wong. She plays the winner of Xing/Pie who are still on court. Xing 11-7 Pai (52 mins elapsed). One of them will be drained for sure.
Glad to see Tommy Sugiarto, Adriyanti Firdasari and Pia Zebadiah all qualified for the Main Draw. At least PBSI's efforts in sending them to All-England bear some fruits and these players gain at least 2220 valuable ranking pts. Lita Nurlita/Nitya Krishinda also qualified. Only Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan failed to qualify...losing in the first round to the more experienced Anthony Clark/David Lindley. Kenichi Tago, Nguyen Tien-Minh, and Xing Aiying all qualified as well, not a bad day for the Asian contingent.
Tommy is fighting back for the 4th Thomas Cup MS spot. He should pass through Andrew Smith, and hopefully provide valuable PAWS pts for me .....
Hehehe, our bro abedeng has the most severe form of PAW Fever. He's been lurking on the AE PAW thread frequently
Must be the All-England, u see if not for my dislocated elbow, I could have been a "potential" All-England Champion ..... With PAWS, I have a second chance ......
wth??? i juz post about the score only lah.. is there something wrong?? u also no need itchy hand la post this...
huh? I did think & look, 2X in fact, I really thought you were joking or being optismistic cos you were the 1st to post it - there was no offense meant. You all joke around ok, eagle serious not ok??? The reason was my livescore board didnt show Wee Kiong/Khe Wei's match, even after I refreshed 2X. Much later only I got time to count, there were more than 4 matches on at the same time. In any case, my apologies, jangan marah.
Lauren's Dad is the owner of Smash City Badminton Club, go to its website, http://www.smashcity.net, to see her picture.
Thank you. I expected Lauren to be Caucasian because of her name but she seems to have some Asian characteristics! She must have played well in the first game. I'm sure she will improve further with wider exposure!
