wow, gotta get ready to work in just next 6 hours. be gone to sleep guys! good luck LP/JR!! i dislike that do-whatever-to-win MB/CM pair...
It is line judge's fault not LCW. LCW does not bribe the line judge to call it IN. I think the line judge should take a brief moment before suddenly yelling for the bad worst call (because it was the championship point). The call any way was unfair to Tago even though he accepted it with a big smile. :crying:
ok la guys.. in case if u guys still seen not enough lee chong wei as the champion just now.. there you go..the ms champion!!!
Gentlemen, I understand that there was some controversial results. Even so, you need to discuss it in a civil manner. If we see any more insulting post, name calling ( even "stupid" or "idiot") or in general any poor manners, we have no choice but to start banning people.
yes of course.but then someone here deliberately keep saying lcw was cheating, shouting, poor tago and all.. all excuses..lame excuses..just can't stand with it...
wow, guess we can see who's really a badminton fan now... most of the Asian fans have left and there's nobody left in the players enclosure...
For those keep on arguing about the last bad call by the line judge, please consider these. Fact 1: It was definitely a bad call by the line judge but not LCW's fault. Fact 2: Initially, KT protested that the shuttle is out but gave the winning point to LCW. Fact 3: LCW reacted spontaniously at the same time when it was called in and KT argued about it. For anyone to win AE title, how could you control your emotion if the shuttle was called in? Fact 4: The match is already finished, so there is no point to argue about this anymore. Just live with it. Fact 5: The system needs to be changed where the use of latest technologies(video replay and etc) need to be put into practice in order to avoid this kind of issue. Fact 6: On the winning podium, LCW did mentioned something to KT, probably he felt sorry too for KT.
i like how abedeng reacted after that shot. plz try to find his last message. although he's a malaysian, he keeps cool. i like how he react.
You got it! When you give the whole incident a second thought it was never the player's fault. It was the linesmen call and he was part of the tournament system and obviously the system can be improved. As for LCW screaming in delight it was his reaction towards the call. From where he was, its impossible for him to know whether the call was bad. Also its not LCW duty as a player in deciding the outcome of it. Pertaining K.Tago's protest, he did pointed it out to the umpire but nothing could be done so he accepted the defeat in grace. I respected him for his great sportsmanship! All in all credits should go to both players in giving us an exciting match.
Boe/Mogensen 11-9 at interval. IIRC the shaking racket thing that Boe always does when serving isn't allowed right?
