last time I went to Queesway was December 2012. There were a lots of badminton shops there that I forget their name. Im only point out that his code is fake and he claim that he bought it from New Link.
Well I actually get to check out singapore open on Wednesday so ill go check out the stuff there also
Agree with snappysatay . Smashing Max is the badminton shop that I currently go the most. I prefer Lining more in personally, so this shop fit my need of all the lining products and skillful stringing service with excellent customer service which I can't seem much now in other placer .
You can't get Adidas badminton apparels in Singapore but Adidas tennis apparels are available at Queensway Shopping Centre (where you can get up to 20% off retail prices) or Adidas Stores http://discover.adidas.com.sg/storefinder
I only support shop seller than the outside seller . Although it will be cheaper than shop but at least that is the warranty. And I believe outside seller is earn more than the shop seller. Because they no need to cover shop rental and etc ...
any badminton shop to recommend for yishun/sembawang? i seach for shop Classic Sports Trading and it's location is at Toa Payoh. http://www.streetdirectory.com/asiatravel/singaporemap/business/145630/316125/
Classic Sports has already ceased operations. Try artric sports at 9 sembong road (walking distance from the white beehoon coffeeshop, opposite sembawang shopping centre). Mr Lim and his wife work from home.
Chau Beng Departmental Store Category(s) : Department Store, Shopping Address : Queensway Shopping Centre 1 Queensway #02-2G, Singapore 149053 (Alexandra) Phone: 64745668 But was told they don't open early for business
Generally prices in Queensway shops are bargainable...to what extend or how much discount, that you have to know the market rate....if u roughly know the price of the racquet u like, juz offer them abit lower and see what they say. Easiest way is to ask them to give u the best price, then walk ard the shops to compare "best-price"
For Victor , you may try Far east sport who just open recently at Tampines, the owner bring in quite a few brands like astec, yonex, apac. you may just drop by and see. For price wise , i feel is quite resonable . The most important is his skills is good and fast restringing services, no need to wait for days. I heard he had been in this field for 8 years and been participate as a restringer in Singapore Avivia Open and Li Ning Open. you guys may try it out.
Guys I will be going to Singapore this December, and will be staying somewhere nearby Bukit Batok area. Where is the nearest place to see or purchase rackets and shirts, especially Yonex, Victor and Gosen?
The nearest badminton shop should be at Jurong East Sports Hall? E-link at Ang Mo Kio is probably the only shop in Singapore which carry Gosen rackets but I believe prices in Malaysia are very competitive. E-link also carry Yonex and Victor rackets. Queensway Shopping Centre is not too far from Bukit Batok. Alight at Queenstown MRT station and take bus no. 195.
