So far I didn't find the tournamentsoftware or website of Vietnam Open 2008 yet.

Hopefully any link of this event or someone in HCMC can give the results and post its in here.

Thank you

Sandy, They wont be in Tournament software... I think it is better to run Irish PAW...even I got the draw, as usual, wil be a day later...thats too late for first 2 days.

I think no official website for this tourney, there's one local forum that linked with badminton, vietnambadminton.com but only available in Vietnamese.

There is an English Box too.

About the tournament, our best hopes are :

- Tien Minh in MS. His world ranking has constantly been improving for 2 years. TM was also the MS bronze medal at the latest Sea games.

- THAI Thi Hong Gam and DUONG Bao Duc in XD, 2nd seed of the tournament. They are the VN number ones several times and seems in form this year.

There's no Vietnam GP 2008 thread in English Box section. Taydzuii, do you know about VN GP time-table/schedule? I guess main draw will be started tomorrow.

You are right. The main draw matches will start tomorrow.

We try our best to catch someone for a thread about VN Grand Prix in the English Box section, because I am in these days in France for work.

I think we will have great MS semifinals and finals because Andre TEDJONO is so sharp, and powerful after his victory in Europe. Yan Kit Chan is from the HongKong's style and this school has great success recently.

As I wrote, our XD racquets could confirm their talents in the tournament, but we know that the Indo and Malaysian schools produce world top double pairs regularly.

;)
