hello yes candra and sigit will be there as partner...it'll be great...too bad i won't be a sportswriter anymore starting from november 1 so i definitely won't write about this event, but maybe i can still make the journalist id and can meet the players personally LOL hopefully i also have the time to watch the match too

A little bit of correction Hi friends I just attended press conference of the 2004 Indonesia Open this afternoon and will write an article about it. A little bit of correction that the event will take place from Dec. 15 to 19, not from Dec. 13. I am still hoping that I can cover the tournament because I will be transferred to the national/politic desk starting from Nov. 24. Fingers crossed and meet you there! PS : it will be broadcasted by SCTV, Star Sports and some Singaporean TV channel I could not remember
Yes, the host broadcaster is SCTV and the takers, as we call them, are Astro Supersports, possibly RTM, SCV Singapore, possibly HK Cable TV. I am also trying to rope in a few European broadcasters to take this event. I work in a broadcasting solutions firm in Singapore, and basically I deal with most major sports in Asia and Europe and do 'Live' satellite delivery for the broadcasters who want to show it in their channel. And I'll say this for the forum - it has been mighty helpful to me not only in terms of getting information for my work but also personally as a badminton fan. Thanks BCF.
hi! make sure we contact each other before the event, who knows we can meet each other there. too bad the place is tennis indoor stadium instead of istora, because tennis indoor is much smaller and darker place than istora i know i cant complain but hey...just keep your fingers crossed for the event. i hope things will go ok
If my company sends me as the coordinator, why not! I have never attended a badminton event as yet but have been catching it on the TV instead. Keeping my toes and fingers crossed maybe I will be making an earlier trip to meet up with the federation and SCTV friends of mine. Let you know. Cheers.
