Has anyone played with the Sabre Light before? I won one in an auction that 925badmintonace had on eBay (for $28USD!!),and was curious what I was getting into. Spec wise, it seems to be not much heavier than my Nano Fusion Speed 722, but with a slightly head heavier balance. I didn't expect to win... Oh well!
Found that the Apacs Vanguard 11 is very similar to Yonex Arcsaber 11. Very nice cosmetic and I like the red color Will get 1 and test it out.
Apacs FW500 Hi, im quite new here and i play with plastic yonex mavis 350 bird. I own a light weight Nano fusion speed 722 (BG65,25lbs) which is my main racquet weighs ~78gms, i fell in love with this racquet so as a backup i went for even lighter and purchased a FW500 yesterday withY-BG65, 25lbs tension. Can someone shed me knowledge about FW500 in detail?
So I ended up getting the Nano Fusion Speed 755 and 733. Paid $92.50 CAD including shipping for both. (The site had a buy one get one free special). Plays very similar to my old Nano Fusion Pro 608. The two rackets are supposed to be similar but the 755 has an "aero" frame and the 733 has a "slim box" frame. I usually play doubles (low-intermediate level?),and when I played, the 755 felt a bit more flexible and slightly more head heavy. The 733 is slightly stiffer and felt more balanced. But I think the specs say the opposite so maybe I am wrong here. Both were lightweight, fast and decent power. Had no trouble defending and doing quick drives/blocks. Overall I liked the 733 more as the stiffness and balance matched me more. They're both great rackets but I think it just depends on preference. The specs on the racket: Nano Fusion Speed 755 Grip:4U-G2 Weight:85+- 2 Balance: 288+-2 Flex: 8.5 Length 675 Nano Fusion 733 Grip:4U-G2 Weight:85+- 2 Balance: 288+-2 Flex: 9.0 Length 675
Anybody can recommend Apacs racket close to Victor MX80 4U and JS 10 4U in feel head heaviness but swift?
None. Apacs (and any other basic graphite racket makers) will never come close in stiffness to those rackets.
Apacs Tantrum Light Exclusive After oscillating back and forth between the apacs tantrum light exclusive vs the apacs lethal light special (both of which had limited reviews), I finally decided on the tantrum light exclusive solely based on the paint job Yes, shallow, I know. It's rated as 6U, and for someone with weak shoulder muscles like me, the difference is obvious. I had it strung at 22lbs with Apacs rainbow guts instead of 25 as I was getting some pain on the backhand with the 25. I'm not great at reviewing so I'll just put in the bare facts of what I felt: Due to its light weight I am able to play longer without getting tired shoulder muscles as quickly. My smashes are incredibly forceful and my backhand clears are finally, well, clearing. Movement is quick, and net play is good. One bad thing I've experienced is that with my forehand clears, I tend to send the shuttle long. Definitely need to get used to the force. Control isn't quite as good as my old Li-Ning Aeroflo, but acceptable enough for my standards. Defence could be better but I'm not going to blame it on the racquet as it may just be user error Now I'm contemplating buying the lethal light special just to have fun with it too. Cheers
Glad to join to APACS Club. Just purchased a new AVP with BG66 Force (26 lbs) & Fischer Grip & FOC a badminton bag at RM230 Will be trying it on this weekends
Welcome I bought another one. The Ziggler 565 to add to my collection. Already have the AVP. Good racket. Hope u like it.
Bro, it's called the z ziggler, z force 2 is yonex. I personally have 2 of those and they are fantastic for me. I play mostly singles so love the racket. everything about it is great, though I'm not much of a racket 'tester'. The only downside of the racket is the grommet at the 2 and 10 o'clock points. They are extremely hard to replace but just be careful when stringing, saves you a lot of time. As for the super series gp, I dont have it so sorry.
thanks for the info. some ppl said z ziggler is not so good in defense. slow down response. is it true?
Apacs do a Z Series Force II as well, both the Z Series Force II and Z Ziggler are good rackets but not as stiff or head heavy as the Yonex version.
Dave, they dont call it a "force 2" since they didnt even have a '1'. And they might have a new racket or something with a stiffer shaft.
