Finally got the x speed. Feels really light n swings fast.
But does seem to feel quite solid on impact with the shuttle.
Will test it out this sunday.

Just had a few doubles games with the x speed.
Overall a fast n solid racket. Even on off center shots, there's no vibration.
Stiffness is just nice with good control as well.
For its price, a keeper for sure.

personally i prefer X-Speed as the name says it all....frankly i feel XT-1200 is more suited for power/attacking singles

Has anyone here played with a Yonex Z Force 2? It would be great if you could let me know how it fares with any of Ashaway's current racquets. A comparison with Palladium, Viper or Phantom series with the Z force 2. Any response is highly appreciated.

The stringing ppl here normally use Yonex BG 65 for all racquets.

    I usually insist 24lbs tension.

I earlier used, Yonex Ti series racquet and used the BG 65.

As you can see in the picture, this is a pre-strung Ashaway racquet.

So would like to know which one suits Ashaway Voltronic VTC Force well.

    Thanks !

I'm a control player and I like to use NBG99. I've only tried Zymax 70 which I didn't like but it might be worth a try or something thinner like one of the strings from the zymax fire range?

Had the racquet strung at a local shop.

A day after that... after few smashes ..

unfortunately the racquet stem was wobbling like a loosened screw ...

removed the grips to see .. the wooden handle had a crack ... feeling shattered ..

has any of u ... had this problem ?

I bought this racquet at Pacific Sports, Singapore, The authorised distributor mentioned in Ashaway site.

Sounds like you picked up a lemon. From countless numbers of Ashaway rackets I have/had, I've never come across this problem.

    Just unlucky I guess.
