according to tournamentsoftware, the russian pair is gone too...so i guess jo and greysia still got that tiny chance of going. However its really not their fault that they lost in quarter since the tpe pair is way stronger than they are..

Well, one may say that not everyday is a Sunday so we don't expect both LCW AND WMC to win all the time. I believe that if both players were trained separately as before, the results at the ABC would definitely have been better. Two lovebirds should be trained under different coaches. Coach Wong Tat Meng identified WMC's weakness which I believe WMC should have had concentrated on building up her strength and durability. She should not change her coach at least after the ABC and TC in May. She was able to beat the top Chinese players, so there is every reason for her not to improve her standard. Last night WMC was not herself as she was too erratic and impatient.
