Gosh, some people do have small egos and overly sensitive, taking offence at the slightest provocations and perceived slights where there are none, actually. Puerile.

Jordan/Susanto seems to be carefully planning to peak for WC. Last year, they peaked early at all england open and couldn't replicate at the Olympics. Wish them the best.

Debby yes, but not Qingchen. She gives double duty handicap with wd but yet gained many titles.

I think it is a good development for badminton to move from being dominated by a few nations to becoming a global sport where players from various countries are joining the top ranks

And your "21-3, 21-4" comment is so inane I don't know whether to laugh or anger. Enough said.

All because nizze passed an innocuous remark about Chen Long not being in top form since coming back from a 4-mth break post-Rio'16 which is a plain fact. Nothing to squabble over, he is right, fair enough.

Anyway, it's all over now. Let's look ahead to the Glasgow WC, it's going to be a relatively quiet and uneventful wait until then, no SS tournament in the interim. Cheers.

Right, in the foreseeable future,I don't think any nation can dominate all five or even four disciplines. We may never know, life is so unpredictable.

For what we know, undoubtedly, the Super Trio have proved before that they are the most consistent on the circuit.
LCW in his heydays, as well as Lin Dan. Chen Long peaked in 2015, completely dominating the competition.
No player will come close to them, not at this moment.
Few players have peak, only for a while. We will see how much further Srikanth can go, in order to prove himself to the world.

The competition has increased, it will not be possible for 1 person to dominate. Just look at WS! The days of 1 individual dominating are gone. Srikanth will face stiff competition from not just the trio but his own team mates who train with him. Also remember India is not a powerhouse nation, so this is a remarkable achievement. :)

SS/SSP Titles by Nations in 2017
    1.China 8
    2.Japan 6
    3.India/Indonesia 4
    4.Taipei/Denmark 3
    5.Korea/Malaysia 1

Also with the age coming to hunt two of the Super Trio, Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei. Of course the competition will not be dominated by one person.

Its XD that have no competition these days. Gone are the days of strong competitors.

Funny when one said MD has no more LeeYongDae or AhsanHendra and its easier to win titles.

Nigel told Matsutomo that they must come to the NZ open, and Christina then asked "do you want us to come at the same time?" in which Nigel said "No, no, no". Christina says "Different year? (I think)" and gave Matsutomo a little pat. LOL
