Uh oh... my favourite racket has developed some sinking at those close neighbouring holes at 2 o'clock. Stupid design... they should have been staggered to have more carbon in between. The grommets are intact and often rotated. Usually strung 25x27lbs GT5xZM62F.

Any way to save it or prevent it from sinking further? Epoxy resin? Tks.

I would say replace current grommet by using li-ning thick grommet. Till it really can't be helped then buy another Astrox 88D.

Do you stil have this racket? I have tried to buy one online but none of the shops seems to carry the 4u version apart from a Brittish one. The old one has a nicer color than the new one.

Yep still have it. My go to racket. Plays noticeably better and easier than my newer Pro version.

Solved the sinking grommet problem by using a small piece of tough rawhide leather there.
