Hey everyone!

In case you've seen portraits on giant pillar-like structures of either Lin Dan or Lee Chong Wei, I'm the guy who makes them (if you haven't, I added a picture of them together below this message). :)

Born and living in the Netherlands, 26 years of age and I started playing badminton around 15 years ago already, following tournament results and matches on youtube for almost the same amount of time. Rather than achieving results as a badminton player, I dream of making more of these kind of huge portrait-installations and exhibiting them at international tournaments one day. In order to make a living as an artist I want to work for all kinds of sport, but particularly badminton, because... well, badminton is the most awesome thing ever, right? :D I want to play my part by making it look the coolest possible and promote it in a really original way ;)

Anyway, looking forward to have a chat with you every now and then and I'll keep you updated in case I've got some new badminton-art!

Very cool! Do you have some other artwork to show? And yeah, badminton IS the most awesome thing ever. ;)

For badminton related things, I have one other portrait of Lin Dan that I made last year, showed below here. :)

For future plans, I'm trying to get my work known to the badminton world, get a chance to make something like this again of other players and I'm contacting tournaments, large clubs, etc. to see if I can exhibit them there one day.
If you're interested to check out some other stuff that I made, feel free to look a bit around my website of course :)

I like when people take their love of badminton and put it into other parts of their lives where badminton isn't usually included, especially the arts. Checking out your website now!
