Got a pleasant surprise that SIN managed to win 2 matches against mighty CHN, in MS2 and MD1 to make it a narrow loss of 2-3. And relatively new MS3, Ryan Ng, gave CHN a scare when the decider went to the rubber. Well done Singapore!:)

You mean widely expected on paper. So was CHN Men's Team, but who would've imagined Team SIN coming so close to toppling them. The Loh brothers, Kean Hean and Kean Yew, deserve much credit, and to a certain extent, Ryan Ng who stretched Qiao Bin the full distance.

But now that the Chinese giant was given such a scare, I doubt the others will be so lucky as to catch them unawares unless they miscalculated or let their guard down again despite the fact that Team CHN is here at half-strength.

China team may think twice to include his name for Thomas Cup Finals roster in Kunshan, he's creating non stop disappointment. Wake up call for top-seed CHN to win over SIN narrowly, host IND is definitely stronger than SIN team.

Singapore is a place for anybody who feels they want to be a part of, irrespective of where they are from.
Many of Singapore's leaders were foreign born but they gave their all to Singapore to transform this tiny dot to what it is today.

You can say Singapore is a place for migrants and change will always be inevitable here. The Loh brothers from Penang took the offer from our Sports School years ago and now they are making their valuable contributions, just as many of their predecessors from Malaysia did.
