Intrigued by the profile of Bilqis Pratista, the daughter of Joko Supriyanto and Zelin Resiana (both players represented INA in the 90s). Joko was the World Champion in 1993 while Zelin won the Bronze Medal in 1997. Zelin herself was part of the Uber-Cup winning teams in 1994 and 1996.

She needs to be exposed to more tourneys and see if we can strengthen the depth of the WS players.

Carnando/Marthin almost did it to stun Aaron Chia/Soh WY, it's about mental game at brink of finish line, don't see huge gap between INA rookies and Tokyo OG bronze medalists in this match. Ng Tze Yong sealed the victory for MAS and dethrone title-holder INA, dictating the match since the beginning, progessive development lately, he competed more international tournaments last year.

Looking at player's age of two finalists, nothing much age difference between INA and MAS squad (except MD1).

It's time for INA to send those singles back-ups in more low-tier or satellite tournaments, need fast track improvement for smooth regeneration.

Lee ZJ, Chia and Soh being so unstable really is a cause for concern.

On the other hand, Ng Tze Yong did very well considering he had covid in January and wouldn’t have been able to do full training.

Malaysia's men' team won this time as my guess, but in Thomas Cup, if king Lee Zii Jia lost, the whole team would collapsed like domino.
