    Fellow badminton lovers!
If hope this title got your attention since I would love a badminton documentary myself.;) (Not sure where to post this but recon the general forum should be alright:confused: )

    Wishful thinking:
I've read articles here and there stating how impopular badminton is and how it is regarded as, this really sickens me, a 'backyard game'. It's my belief that the lack of coverage is a big factor and maybe a documentary would cure this a bit.
I'm not talking about a "I like to go to practice to meet my friends", MTV, teenie kind of a doc but more of a really really really really deep diving and investigating one which covers ALL aspects of the game and everything around it.

Imagine seeing the arena/bad. world through the eyes of the worlds best players! Taufik(for example) being aggravated at some coach... the extensive training... meetings with producers of the gear... tactics... (to mention a few)
Also imagine following your favourite player the day she/he is to play a tournament final and you follow her/him from when she/he ate breakfast, to the stadium, into the court and when she/he first see the audience ROAR the name of the player at the top of their lungs!! :D

I could easily think of countless hours of film being filled with topics like this...
I get the impression, from the forum etc, that badminton is a headless chicken running around without any head (management)... and this saddens me plenty.(Even more if I knew this was the case)

    take care
    laters all

I've seen them airing a ping pong documentry about the coaching of a ping pong players in the carribean... so if they can make a documentry out of that I'm sure they can make one for badminton. Here's to hoping.
