I'm heading to Japan for a short trip in March and I'm wondering if it's worth visiting any badminton stores there for Yonex, Gosen, Mizuno etc equipment, rackets, shoes, etc. Definitely will try to look for some wide cut Yonex shoes that are supposedly only available in JP market, and perhaps pickup a few JP coded AX88D's if the price is amenable. Any stores that anyone can recommend? TIA! Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Cool! I see it. Recently renovated too. And I see that Shuttle House also has a store in Ueno just some blocks north of Akihibara. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Japan has these massive sport chains that are kind of your one-stop shop. Google map search Wembley, Sports Depo/Sports Alpen and you'll likely find one near you. Needless to say, these stores will not be as heavily discounted as Shuttle House, for example. I'm not sure if you'll be driving or taking public transport, since some are quite difficult to navigate to if you do not know your way around. I'll just list a few for you. Tokyo Wembley Badminton Pro-Shop - Akihabara Branch https://goo.gl/maps/cuNfAxMx2oo http://www.bps-wembley.com/ Sports Depo - Mimamisunamachi Sunamo Branch Tax-free for tourists https://goo.gl/maps/xpe38HG97jN2 Osaka Shuttle House - Osaka Branch Tax-free + you already know their discount prices https://goo.gl/maps/2XucTpaKJMT2 Badminton-Japan - Yonex Speciality Store Tax-free + discounts https://goo.gl/maps/daTwggSUsH22
