Yup, Those shirts are the latest souvenir edition from HongKong Open.
Nice picture, but I'd like to see more. There were no pictures for the first gathering, how about for the second one ? (if there was one) .
sadly there was no pic.............
Was there a second gathering? I couldn't figure out. I though Kwun wanted one in part for that purpose.
..seems to me that Janet hasn't changed much, if i remember correctly from her previous pictures in BC..she looks quite fit, for a mom..
..Hau-ge, if you would've been there..................we might have some pictures....I don't think there was a 2nd get-together. The 1st one occurred this past Saturday morning. Maybe kwun was proposing the idea of a group picture after the Finals had completed, and then they could hang out a bit afterwards.
Definitely we need to have more fun pictures, BC-ers, participants, organizers, food?, etc. since most of us can't go. Pictures for players are nice, but we also see them in video (if they make into semi and finals). next time please spare some to share.
From another picture Kwun with Tony Gunawan, Kwun is about 2 to 3 inches taller than Tony Gunawan. TG is 5'10". So Kwun is about 6'1, 6'2. From this picture, Janet is just about 4 or 5 inches shorter, so Janet is about 5'8, 5'9? Very tall couple.
TG is not 5'10"
You must have majored in math or good at it for such precise calculation .
I watched a lot of his matches on dvd, and they usually list him as 5'10". How tall is he?
This is probably elementary school math.
I just got it. So Janet is kwun's wife. I was wondering why he's standing between two ladies (?). Players usually do that when they are XD partners.
A bit off topic-Yes..
..and if you want to see a few of their past pictures, in BC, you can go here (and follow the links):
Tony Gunawan is 5'9"
What is the big deal on 1 inch ?
I am 5' 10" but people think I am 6' -- so I let think it is so.
Ahem, an extra inch could mean a lot where it matters
I mean... trying playing with the centre of the net at 5'1"
175cm = 69 inches = 5'9"
