for malaysia player, i choose single = wong choong han doubles = chong tan fook and tan boon heong out of malaysia, i choose single = lin dan doubles = fu hai feng
between CTF and TBH, i will choose TBH.. his reaction is faster and intercept shots really fast with his left hand..
As of right now, I agree that he is currently the best left-hander in singles...but for all time singles players, it must be Zhao Jianhua. His deception, power and placement were so amazingly accurate and devestating to his opponents. If Zhao Jianhua of the early 1990's were playing right now against LD, PG, TH, LCW, etc, I humbly think he would destroy them all in similar fashion he did with most of his opponents back then.
Im going to have to go with the player that is currently the best in the world which is LinDan, because he is the best player after all.
Winning all the timas doesn't mean he's the best plyr right?? Taufik matches him... And, soon, I think Andre Kurniawan Tedjono can too.. Although it'll take some time.. Chen Jin...?
Zhao Jianhua's on court speed is not necessarily slower than Lin Dan's. Personally I think he is even faster and technically superior compared to Lin Dan. Zhao Jianhua was also nicknamed by the media/players then as Zhao 'kaboom'. It pretty much tells you his offensive prowess. Zhao is always said to be a very deceptive player, but in my opinion I don't consider him as such. His technique is excellent, which makes his intentions hard to read/anticipate by his opponents. This aided by his superior court coverage skills and athleticism, he was able to place the shuttle in places considered impossible to most of the players.
